As part of implementing the Anti-racist Wales Action Plan (ArWAP), ADSS Cymru was commissioned by the Welsh Government to study the recruitment and career progression of staff from ethnic minority backgrounds in social care.
We surveyed and interviewed over 100 people about their lived experiences, as well as engaged directly with local authorities, organisations and employers.
Our findings are now available in our latest report ‘Delivering social care in an anti-racist Wales’. The report details the context of the sector today, the feedback from surveys, interviews and engagement, conclusions and recommendations.
