NHS and social care staff to benefit from bonus payment

 

The Minister for Health and Social Services has announced a bonus payment of £735 to social care workers to recognise and reward the commitment of the workforce throughout the pandemic.

Social Care Fair Work Forum

 

‘It’s time for everyone in social care to benefit from fair work’.

The Social Care Fair Work Forum has published a Position Statement which sets out its priorities for the social care sector and its work. The tripartite social partnership brings together Welsh Government, employer and employee representatives to tackle key issues in the sector.

Code of Practice for Autism Services in Wales

 

The Code and supporting guidance consultation closed in December 2020. The Code is due to be laid before the Senedd on Wednesday (24 March) with a view to formal publication during the summer. Implementation will begin from 1 September 2021. Successful delivery will be reliant on good working relationships within and across Regional Partnership Boards . In support the Minister for Mental Health and Well-being and Welsh Language has agreed to provide each Regional Partnership Board with £4k for the year 2021-22 to establish an autism infrastructure.
