Video message regarding advice on doses from Dr Richard Roberts, Head of Vaccine & Preventable Diseases Programme at Public Health Wales

Please share this video with your networks - it covers the scientific basis on which the decision on prioritising first doses was made following advice from the JCVI. We hope that this brings some reassurance to staff concerned about this.

Study of the lives of people with a learning disability during the coronavirus pandemic

Can you help us please?

We want to interview 200 people with a learning disability before the end of January 2021. This is the first of 3 interviews. We want to find out how people’s lives have been during the coronavirus pandemic. We would like to hear from you if:

  • You have a learning disability
  • You live with someone who has a learning disability who could be interviewed with support
  • You work with people who have a learning disability who could be interviewed with support

You can help us by speaking to individuals that use your service about taking part in this study and letting us know if anyone is interested in talking with us. People can have support from anyone there to help them complete the survey if this is necessary.

This is a one-year study involving researchers and organisations across the UK. In Wales the partners are Cardiff University, University of South Wales, Learning Disability Wales, All Wales People First and All Wales Forum of Parents and Carers.
